Powerway Powerclamp system developed for Japanese market

To prevent the increase of global warming and address other environmental challenges, Japan has introduced a system of residential solar power subsidies to encourage the use of renewable energy in the country. With the implementation of this system, the Japanese residential solar photovoltaic industry has been developing rapidly.

Currently, however, available land for solar power generation is becoming less; on the other hand, factory roof-top power generation systems have became a major trend in the PV industry in Japan.

To meet this local market demand, Powerway’s Powerclamp system has been specifically developed for Japanese sheet-metal roof-tops. The design reduces both the weight of the system on the roof and the number of clamps required to attach it, which, together, shorten the required construction time.

Advantages of Powerway’s Powerclamp:

1. Applicable for three different sizes of angle gear type sheet-metal roof-tops.

2 Steel clamp with no keel, improving installation efficiency and reducing cost.

3. Grounding pads that increase the conductivity of the components, ensuring that the structure is safe and reliable.
