The Zerbst II solar installation alone produces over 11 million kWh of solar electricity per year, supplying around 3,000 households. This also benefits the environment: the 12 MWp solar installation avoids around 7,000 tons of CO2 emissions detrimental to our climate, the company said. MCG would add the solar park to its own investment portfolio.
Also, MCG Group commissioned Q-Cells for the long-term technical operation, maintenance and repair of the photovoltaic system. With the realisation of the Zerbst II solar park, Q-Cells and MCG are carrying on their renewable energy partnership.
