From August 17th to September 4th, participants will be able to attend one, two or three weeks depending on their interests: the two overview trainings suit the needs of professionals who want to enhance their career prospects by getting a comprehensive introduction into green energy technologies. During the second week, participants study grid-connected and off-grid photovoltaic technologies and learn about technology, economics and project implementation. Introduction to bionergy deals with the principles and essential concepts to generate bioenergy in an environmental friendly and sustainable way.
With last years trainings fully booked by participants from 18 countries, the Green Energy Summer School is one of RENACs most wanted Open Trainings. GESS combines theoretical content with practical exercises in RENAC Training Centre, site visits and international networking in Berlinor on the shores of Lake Bourget, near Lyon (France).
GESS is open for representatives from the public-, private-, industry-, non-profit-, and academic sectors, financing institutions and industry associations worldwide.
The Renewables Academy (RENAC) is a leading international provider of education and training in renewable energy and energy efficiency. Following its foundation in January 2008, over 4,500 participants from more than 135 countries worldwide have benefited from their expertise in technology, financing, management and economics of a green energy supply.
The National Solar Energy Institute (INES) is the first French and one of the first European centers dedicated to research, training and evaluation on solar energy. Based at Savoie Technolac on the shores of Lake Bourget, the institute was set up with the backing of Savoie Départemental Council and Rhône-Alpes Regional Council.
