This project is located on a factory roof in Nanjing, city of southeast China's Jiangsu province, which is invested and operated by Ditrolic Energy, a leading independent clean energy company in Southeast Asia. CEEC Hunan Electric Power Design Institute is the EPC contractor and SEG Solar supplies its Yukon series modules. The Project covers an area of 10000 square meters. It’s expected to generate 1.2 million kWh of clean power per year, and 3.2 billion kWh of electricity across its full lifecycle.
The project uses SEG Solar Yukon series modules with output power up to 550W and conversion efficiency exceeding 21.29 percent. Integrated 182mm large-size silicon wafers, Yukon series have lower attenuation rate, lower levelized cost of energy (LCOE) and higher power generation gain compared to ordinary PERC modules. In addition, made of state-of-the-art float glass, the Yukon series can achieve 94% light transmittance, significantly reduce costs and allow for self-cleaning.
Pursuant to the agreement with Ditrolic Energy, SEG Solar also will supply Yukon series bifacial modules to the second phase factory, a 1.3MW BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaic) project.
Jun Zhuge, Founder and COO of SEG Solar, comments: “Ditrolic Energy is the leading clean energy investor and installer in Southeast Asia. I am proud that Ditrolic Energy finally selected SEG Solar to be the exclusive module supplier of the project after comparison of products from multiple module manufacturers. This is SEG Solar’s first project in China—more are forthcoming.”
“We were impressed by their professionalism, impeccable services and incredible attention to detail. SEG Solar has built an excellent reputation and a loyal customer base in US market—we believe this cooperation is the formula for success in China.” said Tham Chee Aun, CEO of Ditrolic Energy. “I look forward to seeing the growth of SEG Solar in photovoltaic industry and continuing our partnership with them for many more years in the future.”
