To assure the company's long-term vision, the managing partners of Solare Datensysteme Jörg Karwath, Thomas Preuhs and Guy Thouin have appointed new leaders to the companys management team.
The new management team will allow Solare Datensysteme to continue to expand internationally while ensuring its position as the market leader in photovoltaic plant monitoring.
Marc Woerner will take over as CEO next month. He has an engineering background and extensive management experience at medium-sized companies as well as multinational corporations.
"Solare Datensysteme will benefit from his wealth of managerial experience, but we will remain actively involved and support Marc Woerner, especially with regard to our presence in the international markets," said the three managing directors.
"The company is in an excellent position with interesting and challenging national and international markets. I look forward to making a contribution with my experience. PV with self-consumption is increasingly becoming an integral part of building services and this is where my background comes into play," said Woerner.
Solare Datensysteme has further strengthened its management team by adding Frank Schlichting as the new CTO this month. He has more than 20 years of experience in product development and management along with managerial experience at a global level.
"My goal is to continue to expand our market leadership by developing standard photovoltaic solutions for all international markets and to fulfill their individual requirements," the 45-year-old engineer said. He also highlighted the importance of quick time-to-market strategies and excellent quality in the PV power management field.
"Solare Datensysteme has just successfully launched a new range of products. Now it is time more countries, such as the U.S., benefit from our innovative products," said Jörg Karwath who will relocate to the Solare Datensysteme subsidiary in Connecticut for a year to develop PV products tailored to the American market.
