The greenhouse, executed as a "turnkey" project, hosts inside an exploitation of citrus grown ecologically and has a system of integrated monitoring, which controls remotely the photovoltaic plant as well as the microclimatic parameters necessary for the successful development of the existing crop. Such parameters include relative humidity, temperature, CO2, regulation of the ventilation and irrigation system, etc.
The design of Soltec greenhouses allows the solar radiation into the interior optimizing both the agricultural and the photovoltaic production. The result of both activities is a very cost-effective and environmentally-friendly investment. The installation will be the object of a study by the prestigious Danish inverter manufacturer, Danfoss, to develop a "Case Study" of the 134 inverters ("TripleLynx" model) installed in the plant.
Raul Morales, CEO of Soltec, said "we are very pleased to expand our range of photovoltaic solutions; with this achievement, Soltec is ready to undertake all kinds of projects using any technology anywhere in the world".
Soltec is currently installing in Israel, Denmark, Italy, Spain and USA. Thus, Soltec has established itself as one of the most versatile and most experienced companies in providing photovoltaic solutions at an international level.
