On August 8, the signing ceremony for the 49.5 MWp Tianmen PV power plant project was held in Tianmen, Hubei Province.
Surpass Sun Electric (SSE) Chairman and President Chen Jianguo signed the investment agreement with the head of Tianmen municipal government Liu Yixin. It is reported that the project is currently the largest solar power project in Jianghan Plain of China.
The project site will be located in three villages in Tianmen City, making use of barren hills and slopes. The planned investment reaches 500 million yuan.
Tianmen municipal government said the solar power generation had become a strategic emerging industry over the world due to its cleanliness, safety, convenience, efficiency and other features. Theres no doubt that the 49.5 MW solar power plant will play a positive role in diversifying the energy mix and accelerating industrial upgrading of Tianmen City.
