VARTA Storage is expanding its sales territory and is now also active in the United Kingdom and Ireland. This has been made possible thanks to an exclusive collaboration with Waxman Energy Ltd. In autumn 2017, the wholesale distributor will incorporate the energy storage systems of the VARTA element and VARTA pulse lines into its product range. “We are extremely pleased to have found an experienced distribution partner for the UK and Ireland in Waxman Energy. Our companies share a commitment to deliver not just high-quality and reliable products, but top-class customer service, too,” says Gordon Clements, General Manager Residential Power & Energy VARTA Storage GmbH.

Waxman Energy Ltd. is part of the Waxman Group, selling high-quality energy solutions for private and commercial use. Up until now, the British wholesaler had kept batteries and inverters as separate products in its range. However, with the addition of the fully inclusive system from VARTA Storage, Waxman can now offer all-in-one solutions. Richard Waxman, Chairman of the Waxman Group, is delighted with the development: “With the addition of the energy storage systems from VARTA Storage, we now carry a well thought-out compact system in our portfolio and offer our customers a strong brand that they can rely on. VARTA Storage is a leading manufacturer of energy storage systems and stands for expertise and quality. Waxman is looking forward to working with this prestigious company and helping to shape the future of battery storage.”

The two partners established the exclusive collaboration when they signed a cooperation agreement in August 2017. Waxman is launching the products from the VARTA element and VARTA pulse lines at its booth at Solar & Storage Live 2017. The solar storage trade show will take place from October 3 to 5 this year in Birmingham.

The latest energy storage system from VARTA Storage is called pulse, a small, compact wall-mounted storage system for domestic use that is available in two classes: 3.3 kilowatt hour (kWh) and 6.5 kWh. Measuring 60 x 69 x 18.6 centimeters, it fits in even the smallest of spaces. VARTA pulse 3 weighs just 45 kilograms, while the larger VARTA pulse 6 weighs in at 65 kilograms.

The successful VARTA element line, a three-phase all-in-one system with integrated power inverter and battery management system, is now also available in four classes from 3.2 kWh to a capacity of 13 kWh. Besides delivering state-of-the-art technology, VARTA Storage also values high-end design and offers the all-in-one storage system in white.
