A delegation of Argentina’s Ministry of Finance has met with representatives of the Chinese government to discuss, among other things, the financing of the 300 MW solar project selected in the first national renewable energy tender of the RenovAr program.
The French independent power producer is planning the construction of a 200 MW solar facility in the Argentinean province of Tucumán.
The World Bank will promote the development of large-scale renewable energy and solar projects across Argentina with a $ 480 million guarantee. The funds will be used to support projects being implemented under the country’s RenovAr program for renewable energies.
PV projects in Mendoza awarded under the RenovAr program with 85% local content will be able to obtain financing through the FONDEAR Fund.
Argentine public administration documentation will incorporate this policy and events for the diffusion of renewable energy deployment will be developed.
