Malta launches second tender for solar plants exceeding 1 MW in size

The call is the second of its kind, and part of the 50 MW incentive scheme the island’s government launched in November. Malta is aiming to reach 200 MW of PV capacity by 2020.

Engie emerges as clear winner of France’s PV tenders

India: ACME Solar wins 600 MW project at lowest ever Indian tariff

ACME Solar has bagged a 600 MW solar PV project in a reverse auction conducted by the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at a tariff of Rs 2.44 (US$0.036) per unit.

Oman to launch another 500 MW solar IPP tender by the end of 2018

The tender is part of a new plan by the Oman Power and Water Procurement company (OPWP), which envisages the deployment of 2 GW of solar through four 500 MW IPP tenders. One of these was launched by the Middle Eastern country in December of last year.
