India hits Malaysian solar glass with anti-dumping duty

The Indian government has imposed anti-dumping duty of $114.58/metric ton on tempered solar glass imports originating in or exported from Malaysia. The five-year duty will be applied to products from producers except Xinyi Solar.

Xinyi Solar posts $160.5 million profit in H1

Chinese PV developer and EPC specialist Xinyi Solar recorded a net profit of HK$1,254.9 million ($160.5 million) in the first half of 2017, up 12.5% from the preceding year, as its downstream unit’s cumulative installed capacity passed the 1 GW mark.
