Storage + X describes an application focused approach to energy storage, with X denoting applications as wide reaching as mining operations, off-grid and standalone power systems, charging stations, or other industrial and utility-scale niches.
This application-driven approach has seen HyperStrong become the top battery energy storage system (BESS) integrator in China and among the top three globally, according to the S&P 2024 Global Commodity Insights report, with over 40 GWh of storage capacity now in operation.
In the last year alone, HyperStrong has integrated its grid-forming LFP storage technologies with vanadium redox flow batteries in a 100MW/200 MWh project in China’s Yunnan Province, delivered customized DC/AC green storage solutions to a large oil and gas company, and set up electric vehicle charging infrastructure which side stepped the need for costly grid upgrades.
The company is now expanding to bring this expertise into the Asia-Pacific region, and in this pv magazine Webinar participants will get to go behind some of HyperStrong’s real-world projects and learn about how its ‘Storage + X’ application-oriented approach can meet the needs of the diverse APAC market.
We will be joined by Yanning Cao, HyperStrong’s technical director for APAC, who will explore key drivers for energy storage in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as Fate Gao, HyperStrong’s director of solutions for APAC, who will explain how the company’s technology has been successfully tailored for mining, data centers, EV charging stations and other applications.
