Europe’s electricity market is shifting as renewables expand and countries pass regulations that better support energy storage. This is creating new opportunities for behind-the-meter (BTM) flexibility and establishing Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) as a leading technology for both grid balancing and economic and value optimization.

In this pv magazine Webinar, with our initiative partner ZOE ESS, we will explore the expansion of digital technology and energy storage solutions.

Gordon Yu, Energy Storage Product Director at ZOE ESS, will provide an overview of the European market and discuss diversified energy storage applications, including standalone storage, wind-solar integration, and microgrids. Drawing on his 14 years of experience in the renewable energy industry and his work on industry standards, he will cover different solutions tailored for the EU market.

Dr. Sujun Zhang, Director at ZOE Digital Energy, will introduce the ZOE Digital Energy Solution, a cloud-edge computing energy management system. With over a decade of experience in software and AI algorithm R&D in the energy sector.

This session provides detailed overviews of European energy storage, offers practical takeaways on current market dynamics and technological solutions, and provides an opportunity for participants to ask live questions during the webinar.
