How to achieve efficient PV projects, from design to performance

Register Now

Every solar project faces the same challenge: how do you know if your design will actually perform as expected before you’ve committed significant time and resources? Join this pv magazine Webinar to find out how solar professionals are bridging the gap between design and energy analysis to eliminate guesswork, reduce iterations, and strengthen project confidence from the beginning.

For designers and engineers and anyone working on solar site optimization, inefficiencies and errors can lead to inaccuracies and delays, causing costs to increase and pressure to mount. In this pv magazine Webinar, we will discuss practical ways to streamline your design-to-yield process and accelerate project development.

Bridging the gap between design and energy analysis can be difficult for solar professionals as the smallest oversight can cause backlogs and slow down development. In many cases, these issues arise because the design to development to yield process is not running as smoothly as it could.

We will be joined by our speaker, Héctor Lucas Forasté, Product Manager Engineer at PVcase, who will explain the risks arising from poor planning and inefficient workflows during the development process. He will talk us through real-life scenarios, from utility-scale developments to distributed generation projects, showing us how to identify and get rid of common problems.

You will learn how to evaluate and implement more efficient workflows for your solar projects, regardless of your current tool setup and get insights on the importance of good early-stage energy data and how to leverage it to impact final project outcomes.

Webinar content:

  • Addressing bottlenecks in project timelines
  • Evaluating design decisions for optimum performance
  • Integrated approach: design, analysis, yield data
  • Generating reports for stakeholders
  • Cost-effective energy modelling for any project size
  • Q&A

Questions can be submitted beforehand or during the webinar through a chat window. Blathnaid O’Dea, features editor at pv magazine, will be the moderator of this webinar.

Registration for this pv magazine Webinar is free of charge.

Speakers

Héctor Lucas Foraste | Product Manager Engineer, PVcase

Héctor is a PV engineer with a specialization in Environmental Technologies from FHNW University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. He began his career in perovskite solar cell development and later gained experience delivering C&I and utility-scale PV projects in Spain. Today, as a Product Marketing Engineer at PVcase, he supports the evolution of PVcase’s software by bridging real-world engineering needs with product innovation. In this session, Héctor will contribute as the technical presenter, offering practical insights into streamlined engineering workflows, with a particular emphasis on the Precision bundle and recent PVcase Ground Mount enhancements.
