JinkoSolar to supply Germany's Saint-Gobain

China based JinkoSolar will supply a total of 54 megawatts of solar modules to Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Deutschland (SGBDD).

Under the agreement, JinkoSolar will supply the 54MW in two shipments, with 4MW this year and 50MW next year. According to JinkoSolar's chairman of the board of directors, Xiande Li, SGBDD's move into the solar business displays its long term confidence in the industry and re-emphasizes Germany's role as the leader in solar products. He added, "The supply agreements further demonstrate the high quality of our solar modules and add to our track record with well-known solar players."

SGBDD plans to sell the solar modules purchased to a number of their chain stores throughout Germany. JinkoSolar is the company's largest solar module supplier to date according to chief executive officer Udo Brandt. He also added that the solar modules from JinkoSolar have passed his company's stringent due dilligence tests and quality tests and he believes that solar products will be increasingly beneficial to SGBDD's business expansion.
