Pike Research joins Navigant

Navigant, a global expert services provider, has acquired Pike Research, expanding its energy research and market intelligence offerings.

One of Pike Research's expertise lies in the analysis of the smart meter market development.

Pike Research, which has been around since 2009, has emerged as one of the leading service providers in providing insights and intelligence reports for the clean technology and emerging energy markets. It has released a series of reports pertaining to the PV sector, as well as developed the Smart grid deployment tracker.

Navigant's Energy Practice managing director and leader William Dickenson says, "Their smart grid, renewables and cleantech capabilities augment our current offering and allow us to more comprehensively assist utilities, public agencies, energy technology companies and other energy industry clients in evaluating and developing the clean and smart energy technologies and product strategies necessary to succeed in today’s dynamic environment."

Pike Research has its expert capabilities in smart grid, renewables and cleantech development. Its services include the analysis of structure of emerging value chains, provision of competitive intelligence and benchmarking as well as demand assessment for new products.
