The utility solar tracker

The Exotrack HZ is a horizontal single-axis tracker that can boost plant output by 25% in comparison to fixed-tilt installations, says the company. Absolutely grease-free, the system requires only 6 motors per MW and thanks to its balanced design, motor consumption and stress are also reduced. The highly optimized system is equipped with an integrated backtracking program custom designed for each site topography, orography and tracker position within the plant. The tracker is also accompanied by an Exobox centralized control unit which pilots up to 4 MW of trackers. The Exobox manages 3 functions: tracker control, monitoring, and communication with the plant via SCADA. The tracker is available worldwide.
