METEONORM is a comprehensive meteorological reference, incorporating a catalogue of meteorological data and calculation procedures for solar applications and system design at any desired location in the world thanks to spatial interpolation methods. It is based on over 25 years of experience in the development of meteorological databases for energy applications.

The METEONORM data is available as a licensed software, as a plug-in for use in third party software, as a web service, optionally with PV Calculator and as single data sets. The company states that many PV producers employ the METEONORM as their climatological database in their software.

Total redesign, import of user data, effects of high horizon considered in radiation calculation, output formats as well as the manual in English have been updated among others. The METEONORM is offered in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
