PV Designer software

This is an addition to the SunEye desktop software that is included with the SunEye. PV Designer offers module layout and shade-adjusted energy production estimates in a complete integrated software tool.

PV designs can be visualized by the creation of arbitrary roof shapes and specification of set-back and keep-out regions. Modules can be dragged and dropped on roofs, with strings defined and module position adjusted. Shade measurements from SunEye readings can also be dragged and dropped.

Modules and inverters can be chosen from an extensive database with key specifications. The software includes a local weather database that facilitates powerful modeling as the company states. Results can be exported in a PDF format and printed or emailed to clients. The software is designed for residential and smaller commercial systems.
