Multi-Contacts photovoltaic connector, the MC4PLUS recently received the new UL 100V approval. Just like its predecessors MC3 and MC4, the latest connector in the MC series has also set new standards being the first with the double certification of 1500V DC TÜV and 1000V DC UL. The connector is IP65 and IP67 protected and ensures safe connection thanks to its snap-in locking system in accordance with NEC 2011. Another product with a new seal is the Westlake junction box (PV-JB/WL-H) which has passed the salt mist spray test according to DIN EN 60068-2-52:1996.
