The TMC-PANOPTES is a platform designed to be used with mini-UAVs and unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs). It is formed by three different multi-sensor modules with optical, thermal, near-infrared and chemical sensors that can be combined together in a single device.
All modules are controlled by an onboard micro-PC which allows live pre-processing of acquired data enabling sensor-carrier smart communication. The mT-PANOPTES is a mini-thermo platform targeted to be used with micro-UAVs for fast, accurate inspections of PV plants. All the PANOPTES platforms are completed by spatially enabled software tools which allow live viewing and recording of collected data along with their positions on maps.
