The ‘OS' manufacturing technology enables CONSERVTM to be produced without induced stress and thermal memory allowing it to exhibit low thermal shrinkage as the company claims. The encapsulant has a special surface texture that allows it to be shipped and stored without masking film. CONSERVTM A 360 – 14 FC is a fast curing, UV and weather stable EVA encapsulant that has UV cutoff wavelengths of 360nm.
It can be used for all crystalline silicon and for a large range of thin film based module constructions. Moreover, the specially formulated CONSERVTM encapsulants melt at relatively lower temperature making the lamination process energy efficient and productive. The lower system temperature enhances the life of the production equipment and eases the handling process.
