SolarCity yesterday unveiled MySolarCity, a first-of-its-kind app that allows SolarCity customers to schedule appointments online and track the progress of crews as they make their way to a client's home, track solar system production and home energy consumption, interact directly with the SolarCity community and get a smarter, more connected home.
Also available to members of the Solar Ambassador program, MySolarCity allows customers and ambassadors to share photos and stories in a private social network.
