Daqo’s net profit slides to $12.1 million in Q2

Daqo New Energy reported a net profit of about $12.1 million in the second quarter of 2017, down roughly 47% from the preceding three-month period, as the Chinese polysilicon producer’s revenue fell more than 9% to about $76 million.

Solarworld’s insolvency administrator reaches agreement with investor

Solarworld Industries GmbH, for which the former CEO Frank Asbeck has been registered as managing director, wants to continue most of the cell and module production at its German facilities.
