PV wafer production forecast to grow 19% in 2013
After falling 15% in 2012, photovoltaic wafer production is expected to grow 19% this year, passing 30 GW and reaching 2011 levels, due in large part to growing Japanese demand, according to the latest NPD Solarbuzz Polysilicon and Wafer Supply Chain Quarterly.

Cyprus: Energy regulator issues 18 licenses for PV parks
The Cypriot Energy Regulatory Authority (CERA) announced on Friday 14 December the results of its recent application call for photovoltaic projects ranging from 20 KW to 150 KW. Overall, 18 applications were approved corresponding to a total capacity of 1.7 MW of solar power.
