EU member states vote for 18-month extension to anti-dumping measures
The European Commission’s proposal to extend the anti-dumping measures for Chinese PV manufacturers by a year and a half has been put to the mediation committee. The final decision will be published on 4th March. A proposal to extend the measures by only 12 months also failed in the Appeals Committee.
Japan’s solar shipments fall 5% in fiscal Q4 — JPEA
Deliveries of PV cells and modules hit 1.7 GW in the three months to the end of December, down from 1.8 GW in the July-September period, according to the Japan Photovoltaic Energy Association (JPEA).

Australia: 320 MW of solar farms commence construction in Victoria

SunPower & First Solar to supply projects in France

Foresight purchases first Australian PV power plant, with 25 MW Barcaldine project
Britain’s Foresight Group had made its first investment into large scale PV in Australia. It announced today the acquisition of the 25 MW Barcaldine Remote Community Solar Farm in Queensland.
GCL-SI signs Mexican distribution deal with DMSolar
GCL System Integration (GCL-SI) did not disclose the financial terms of the master distribution agreement, under which Guadalajara-based DMSolar will offer the Chinese PV maker’s components, as well as its GCL-P6/60 and GCL-P6/72 panels.
