A two megawatt (MW) pilot project has been completed in California, thus leading the way for the Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) to develop up to 250 MW of new solar photovoltaic (PV) power in the state.

Roth & Rau AG has received a major order worth €92 million to supply a well-known, undisclosed Indian solar company with a wafer production line, bringing their total new orders for this year to a total of €250 million.

SunEdison has said it will develop and build eight rooftop photovoltaic (PV) projects, with a capacity of 2.1 megawatts, for LaSalle Investment Management. Construction is set to begin late this summer.
