2012 utility-scale PV installations top 8.5 GW
According to the latest figures from Wiki-Solar, utility-scale photovoltaic installations have reached 8.5 GW this year, thus more than doubling the 2.3 GW recorded in 2011.
Community solar model rolled out in Australia

Centrotherm secures 300 MW Chinese order
Centrotherm photovoltaics has won a 300 MW order with CECEP Solar Energy Technology (Zhenjiang) Co., Ltd, based in China. Under the agreement, it will deliver solar cell production systems for anti-reflective coating and phosphorous diffusion.
Fraunhofer granted $11 million SunShot plug-and-play grant
