ABB picks up substation contract for DEWA solar expansion

SwitzerlandÂ’s ABB has landed at US$20 million order from the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) to extend a substation, to facilitate solar park expansion plans. ABB will conduct works that will allow the phase II of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum solar park from 100 MW to 200 MW.
