Inventec also demonstrates the advantage of vertical integration and consolidation from “Cell-To-Module” by presenting the “High Efficiency Modules”, as well as other new technologies and unique turn-key solutions including “HCPV High Efficiency Street Light” and “Inventec Plus Smart Module”, joint-developed products with Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology and Tigo US respectively.

High Efficiency PV Module

The main product to be demonstrated at this event by Inventec Energy is a 400Wp “High Efficiency PV Module” by using 96 multi-poly cells manufactured by Inventec Solar, one of the leading Taiwan based cell manufacturer under Inventec Group, plus the “Anti-Reflective Coated Glass”, a joint-developed technology with JAPAN EBARA-UDYLITE CO., LTD. to enhance the best output efficiency by increasing the power generating ability. Inventec Solar, a leading cell manufacturer under Inventec Group, who just completed the pilot run in July, and already accomplished an average efficiency (ETA) of 16.8%, which represents 60% of its current total output. And now combined the joint-developed “Anti-Reflective Coated Glass” technology with JAPAN EBARA-UDYLITE CO., LTD, can improve the average efficiency of over 4%. It is the best solution for integrate and consolidate system of large scale power plants as it even provides excellent performance under low-light condition.

HCPV High Efficiency Street Light

The “High Efficiency Street Light” we demonstrate at this event is a joint-developed technology of 3 parties with WIN Semiconductor and Chung Shan Institute of Science and Technology. The ultimate achievement and unique feature of this mini size “Portable Solar Tracker” adapts the “Concentration Photovoltaic, CPV” developed by WIN Semiconductor that allows you to either track the position of Sun accurately and precisely to maximize the power output and efficiency of CPV, or to increase the power output of Silicon based PV modules for over 30%. Most of all, its unique feature of portable and easy installation can be applied to tailor made wireless monitoring system with the embedded chipset of the GPS tracker.

This product with mini sized power generator and mobile base system can be easily applied in the country side and rural area as emergency power generating system, as well as on Solar LED Street Lights, oxygen provider for fish ponds and other appliances device to demonstrate the application value of Solar/PV technology.

Inventec Plus Smart Module

Inventec Energy is delighted to present and demonstrate the best Smart Module, a joint-developed technology with Tigo US, not only allows you to predict and prevent commonly seen power loss problems such as covered by trees and shades, it also enhances the easy management and monitoring of large size and scale of power plants in order to maximize the total power output. The concept of “Smart Module” is to set the operation and calculation feature of (Maximum Power Point Tracking; MPPT) of PV inverters independently into the back of each and every PV module, so that every single PV module has the ability of conducting MPPT tracking, which improves the power loss problems drastically, which we can expect to see a 25% improvements compared with traditional PV modules, that allows us to utilize and make the most of available roof space, and harvest all energy from each module, as well as enhances the system safety with de-activate system at PV module level.

2011 has been an extremely difficult year for PV industry with fast down sliding in both demands and unit price globally, which we finally see some light with sign of slight recovery now.
