The PRO-33.0 comes with a high maximum DC input voltage of up to 1,100 volts (V), which increases photovoltaic (PV) system design flexibility, giving it an extra margin in cold temperatures. It also allows for longer strings which reduce cabling costs. A safe and intuitive user interface provides for fast and easy commissioning.
The PRO-33.0 is the result of our goal to develop a high-power, cost-efficient three-phase string inverter ideal for medium and large decentralized PV systems, said Paolo Casini, Vice President Marketing Solar Inverters of ABBs Power Conversion business unit. The inverter offers cost-efficiency in a high power, wall-mountable package with very high conversion efficiency. And the inverters optimized topology makes it very cost-efficient.
The PRO-33.0 features a robust IP65 enclosure and is suited for almost all weather conditions. In addition, it has a single maximum power point (MPP) tracker and advanced grid support functions, which ensures the compatibility with grid codes. Moreover, the compact, all-in-one configurable design with built-in and monitored PV array protection devices ensures reduced system costs and a fast return on investment.
