billion CNY. These contracts, valued at 900 million CNY and 400 million CNY respectively, involve the procurement of ATW’s advanced monocrystal ingot pullers and auxiliary equipment. It highlights growing confidence in ATW Technology’s manufacturing capabilities as the company continues to build its reputation in the photovoltaic industry globally.
This momentum comes following the launch of of ATW subsidiary SCEC’s the third-generation Monocrystalline Ingot Puller (SC-1600-Ⅲ). The equipment was lauched by ATW’s subsidiary Songci Electromechanical (SCEC), addresses several challenges in solar manufacturing. Industry-wide issues such as high oxygen content in silicon rods, complex equipment upgrades, and automation gaps have led to a growing demand for advanced solutions.
According to reports, the SC-1600-Ⅲ ingot puller delivers improved performance by reducing oxygen content in silicon rods to as low as 6ppm-7ppm. By optimizing dynamic and static heat fields and employing intelligent temperature control, the furnace significantly enhances crystal quality. Industry tests indicate that this system can increase minority carrier lifetimes by 15-20% and improve downstream cell efficiency by 0.1-0.2%.
The SC-1600- stands out with its advanced level of automation and intelligent technology, delivering a highly efficient and streamlined crystal pulling process for solar manufacturers. The integration of AI and “one-click operation” feature allows for easy automation of the entire process, including material loading, crystal pulling, furnace shutdown, and crystal extraction, which minimizing manual intervention while optimizing performance.
Its sophisticated upper computer (HMI) software has also undergone a comprehensive upgrade based on user feedback, offering a dynamic display of real-time production data combined with process curves. This user-friendly interface provides operators with clear and intuitive access to critical information. Moreover, the advanced software logic ensures precise control of both temperature and gas flow, reducing impurities and boosting crystal quality. With built-in digital technology, the system is also designed to integrate seamlessly with future intelligent factory automation.
Looking ahead, ATW Technology remains focused on the long-term development of advanced solutions for the photovoltaic ingot pulling sector. As the demand for higher-quality, lower-cost solar energy solutions grows, ATW is committed to expanding its global presence and continuing to support its partners with technologies that drive performance improvements across the photovoltaic industry.
