Bisol works to ensure optimal energy yields of PV systems with unique array optimization technique

Optimizing PV module serial and parallel connections within the PV plant array reduces the module array mismatch losses by 70 percent. When combined in a PV plant array, unique electrical characteristics of each PV module define the current voltage characteristic of the whole array, and thus the energy yield of the system.

Dr. Uros Merc, CEO of Bisol comments: “First installations with Bisol array optimization technique have already shown great results. Losses, which usually account to 4.9 percent of the PV plant output power, decrease to less than 1.7 percent”. Arranging Bisol modules into optimal PV plant array is easy, states the company, by simply reading the label on the backside of a module. It holds all the relevant characteristic data about particular PV module used, including PV plant array arrangement symbol.

With an annual production capacity of 80 megawatts (MW), the worldwide installations ideally reduce over 52,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions each year, says the company. It explains: "Manufactured under the state-of-the-art technology, Bisol PV modules ensure an outstanding long-term performance and are designed to withstand the most rigorous operating conditions."
