At the SNEC 2025 PV Power Expo, CYG unveiled a comprehensive suite of smart energy solutions, reflecting its ambition to lead in solar, storage, and electrification through a “PV + digital” dual-drive strategy. Backed by strong in-house R&D and vertically integrated manufacturing, CYG showcased breakthroughs in ultra-fast EV charging and commercial & industrial (C&I) storage systems.
Advancing Smart Charging and Industrial Storage Solutions
Helios Charger DC600L
CYG’s Helios Charger DC600L, a fully liquid-cooled DC fast charger launched in April, stood out for its high efficiency, optimized user experience, and cost accessibility.
- Efficiency: System-wide efficiency reaches 95.6%, improving power utilization by 5% and boosting station profitability.
- User experience: Slim, lightweight charging cables allow single-hand operation, while smart fan control minimizes noise across diverse site environments.
- Cost control: Modular design, integrated supply chain, and scaled production make ultra-fast charging affordable for mid-size operators.
Helios ESS (Energy Storage System)
CYG also introduced the C&I Energy Storage Cabinet Series from its Helios ESS product line, designed with in-house thermal control, modular architecture, and proprietary 3S integration (EMS/PCS/BMS).
Key technical highlights include:
- System efficiency ≥ 87.5%, enhancing investment returns
- Precision liquid cooling: Pack-level temperature variation ≤2°C; cabinet-level ≤4°C
- Longevity and reliability: Extended life cycles with lower maintenance and fewer faults
- Manufacturing innovation: DFM optimization and vertical integration reduce total cost of ownership
Adapting to Global Market Dynamics
Beyond technology, CYG is also adapting to shifting global market dynamics. In the face of rising localization mandates in the US and EU, CYG is pursuing a dual strategy: reinforcing technology self-reliance while diversifying global footprints.
“Battery cell manufacturers must innovate in intrinsic safety and energy density, while storage system players need to improve coordination across EMS, PCS, and BMS,” the company said. “Equally important is the ability to customize for local grids and even help build them through grid-forming capabilities.”
To manage geopolitical and tariff risks, CYG is actively expanding into emerging markets such as Latin America, Australia, and the Middle East, while considering capacity deployments in Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe.
“Across all global operations, localization is key,” said the company, “including marketing, branding, channels, and local hiring.”
Unlocking the Full Value of Energy Storage
CYG emphasized the need for long-term policy mechanisms to support the maturing energy storage market, particularly as current business models still rely on subsidies and peak-valley electricity pricing.
“At its core, any storage business model must create value for all stakeholders in the chain,” the spokesperson explained. “We’re focusing on extending the storage system life-cycle — aiming for 20 years of synchronized life with solar — and improving safety and efficiency across the board.”
- Safety goals: From “no fire spread” to “smoke without combustion”
- Efficiency targets: Rising from 93% to 95% and beyond
- Life-cycle certainty: better durability, fewer failures, and long-term performance
Looking forward, CYG advocates for a dedicated electricity pricing mechanism for storage, analogous to water reservoirs – to provide clear, long-term guidance for all market participants.
