Clean Fund LLC is pleased to announce the hire of Brandon Deno to lead the companys business development efforts in the commercial solar channel.
Brandon has been active in the solar PV industry for more than eight years said Clean Fund CEO Greg Saunders. His deep experience in the solar industry — ranging from rooftop installation to channel development, distribution and manufacturing, will only further Clean Funds leadership in the commercial property PACE financing industry.
Brandon comes to Clean Fund after five years at AU Optronics Corp. (AUO/BenQ Solar), Taiwans largest PV module manufacturer, where he was responsible for leading the US sales and service team from zero to over $40 million in annual sales.
I am excited to join the experienced Clean Fund team and lead our renewed efforts in the solar channel, said Deno. Commercial scale solar is set for significant growth due to greatly declining system costs and ahead of the ITC step down at the end of 2016. Clean Funds solar PACE financing products allow developers, engineers, suppliers and contracting firms to capture a much larger portion of the commercial distributed generation market. Clean Funds solar financing products excel in both third party-owed structures, or in situations where the offtaker directly owns the system. Importantly, we can finance holistic projects that include energy efficiency, storage, and other measures alongside the PV system.
Over his career in the solar industry, Brandon has originated more than 100 MW of module and system sales. Prior to joining the solar industry, he spent nine years developing various vertical markets for an energy efficient pre-engineered building system. Brandon holds a B.S. in Management with a Minor in Marketing from Purdue University.
