Clenergy, the solar park solutions provider, has recently been issued certificate BBA 0140 for the Microgeneration Certificate Scheme MCS 012 standard of fixing solar panels on roofs using its PV-ezRack SolarRoof Pro range of roof mounting systems, well ahead of the planned March 2014 rollout.

SolarRoof Pro is the Company's roof-mounting solution suitable for most types of pitched and flat roofs in Europe. Using innovative PV-ezRack Rail, Z-modules connections and a wide range of roof hooks, SolarRoof Pro is one of the most versatile rooftop solutions in the world, delivering a safe and cost-effective solution to installers. SolarRoof Pro complies with many international standards, with authoritative accreditations including TÜV (Germany) and RAL-GZ-966 (Germany), and now MCS 012 in the UK.

The MCS 012 standard adds additional requirements for MCS certified Solar PV systems and in particular to the mounting kits. Receiving this certificate proves that Clenergy’s SolarRoof Pro system complies with the high standards of the BBA, the British Board of Agrement, on weatherproofing, on resistance to wind uplift and on fire resistance.

"Setting performance standards is necessary," states Charlie Greenaway, Clenergy Europe’s Product Manager, "and at Clenergy we believe these measures are long overdue."

Clenergy draws on years of experience in manufacturing lightweight, corrosion resistant, recyclable solar PV mounting systems to firmly secure any PV module. All main components are manufactured from high grade stainless steel, aluminium/anodized aluminium; they are designed to last the life of the roof and are backed by a 10 year warranty.
