Correction: M10 Kubus supply
pv magazine would like to correct an error that appeared in the June edition (06/2015) of the magazine. On page 39 of the edition, in the article Its getting hot in China, pv magazine incorrectly reported that M10 Industries had supplied one of its Kubus stringer production tools to a manufacturer in China.
This is incorrect. While M10 has not yet supplied one of its Kubus machines to a customer, it is operating at SI Module in Germany. This is a daughter company of M10 Industries, where potential customers test there material on KUBUS.
The Kubus has the ability to connect 5,000 PV cells per hour. M10 reports that it can achieve non-stop production, features high redundancy to maximize productivity during maintenance, employs a “tray cell matrix”, and has a infrared soldering process. It is also suitable for connecting 6-inch half cells.
pv magazine apologizes unequivocally for the error and any damage that may have resulted in the misquotation.
