Commercial Three Phase PV String Inverters

The Ginlong R&D Team has further improved the NA commercial 3-phase product line for 2018-2020. The 50-66 kW inverter family now features a separate wire box design that results in quick installation times and reduced O&M costs. By staging the inverter installation process, wire box first, then inverter power train, significant cost savings can be realized. In addition to saving money, the 2-part staged installation process is safer, reducing on-site injuries related to the weight of the inverter and handling on uneven terrain. Additionally, the 50-66 kW inverter family uses a common wire box design reducing the number of SKU's needed for a project utilizing different inverter models.

The 25-40 kW inverter family is also moving to a separate wire box design and installers will enjoy the same savings and benefits as they do with the 50-66 kW family of commercial 3-phase PV string inverters. All Solis inverters are convection cooled primarily, with fan assist for high temperature conditions. Today, the 25-40 kW inverter family can be ordered with a fan-assisted cooling option on certain models which allows installers to mount the inverter at 0-90 degrees off horizontal, a must for roof-top installations.

On-site commissioning support is available for selected projects from experienced application engineers.

Solis Resident Single Phase PV String Inverters

Ginlong Solis, the industry-leader with 3 and 4 MPPT’s inside NEMA 4X PV string inverter enclosures, will be showing a new set of inverter features to the attendees of SPI 2018! The entire line of Solis residential inverters (2.5-10 kW) now features high frequency switching frequency (>30kHz), advanced data monitoring and includes optional built-in revenue grade metering (RGM), cellular functionality and a RJ45 ethernet LAN connection. All this equipment is pre-configured and built into the inverter, reducing installation time and external equipment costs. The Solis Cellular Stick, boasting the industry’s easiest cellular install, will send data directly to the new 2nd Generation Solis Monitoring platform with OTA firmware update capability.

Meeting the latest IEEE 1547.1 and Rule 21 Phase 2 requirements (e.g. Power Factor control, reactive power priority, etc.), the Ginlong Solis R&D Team continues to improve the Solis residential solution and has developed a new, a low cost, dual-panel, module-level rapid shutdown device (RSD) for PV system installers working under the 2017-2019 National Electrical Code requiring module-level rapid shutdown.

The R&D Team at Ginlong Solis has also developed a North American version of its popular, state-of-the-art High Voltage Hybrid Inverters for the North American solar storage market. This line of inverters ranges from 5-10 kW and is compatible with Lithium-Ion batteries up to 500VDC. The Solis Hybrid Inverters includes dual MPPT inputs (4 PV strings) and one of the highest dc/ac ratios in the industry for maximum flexibility during installation.

Ginlong Solis is committed to best-in-class customer Service. Customers can reach the Solis Service Team using our toll-free Service Line (866-438-8408) or dedicated email: usservice@ginlong.com.
