Headway Solar releases report on the latest project allocations under India's National Solar Mission

Headway Solar’s latest report provides an overview of the batch I allocations under the phase II of India’s National Solar Mission.

According to the allocations, 25 projects will be developed under the open category, requiring approximately INR 4 billion from the government body to fund the viability gap.
Similarly, 22 projects will be developed under the DCR category, requiring a total of INR 8 billion, twice the fund requirements of the open category.While INR 18.75 billion was reserved by the government, INR 12 billion will be required to fund the projects to make them viable, thereby leaving the funds surplus with 36% of the initial allocation.
