KACO new energy GmbH introduces two string inverters to the Japanese market. The blueplanet 20.0 TL3 INT and blueplanet 50.0 TL3 INT inverters will be on display at stand number E24-20 at PV Expo in Tokyo from March 1-3, 2017.

As three-phase string inverters, the blueplanet 20.0 TL3 INT and blueplanet 50.0 TL3 INT inverters from KACO new energy are suitable for decentralised roof-top as well as ground-mounted solar power plants. Having outputs of 20 and 50 kilowatt respectively, they fit commercial- and industrial-sized PV arrays. The blueplanet 50.0 TL3 INT even opens up possibilities for multi-megawatt solar parks.
Highest efficiency for utility-scale PV plants

Both inverters are wall-mounted devices and feature an IP65-protected housing for outdoor installation. In addition, they are equipped to meet requirements for overvoltage protection. The blueplanet 50.0 TL3 INT has a particularly high efficiency of 98.5 percent and is available as a part of all-in-one packages that also include AC and DC combiners, compact transformer station, switchgear unit and low voltage distribution. This makes the inverter an economical alternative especially for utility-scale solar power plants.

New inverters to be introduced at PV Expo

KACO new energy has gained its foothold in the Japanese solar PV market by providing central inverters to large-scale projects; the 1.2 megawatt solar park at Fukushima airport being the most notable among these. With the launch of the blueplanet 20.0 TL3 INT and blueplanet 50.0 TL3 INT, the German-based company starts to make more inverters of its comprehensive international product portfolio available to one of the largest PV markets worldwide. The new string inverters are being presented in Japan for the first time at PV Expo in Tokyo from March 1-3, 2017. Visitors can get more information at stand number E24-20.
