The joint programme planning makes it easier for visitors to acquire information on an extensive range of topics at just one conference and trade fair. While Energy Storage focuses on business and finance, IRES is the leading conference for scientific and socio-political aspects of energy storage.
Hans Werner Reinhard, President and CEO of Messe Düsseldorf, says: "Many of those who attended Energy Storage 2015 came to Düsseldorf both for the trade fair and for the presentations on technological, political and market-related topics. It has now become much easier for them to put together for themselves individual visitor programmes that fit whatever they are looking for, with content from all areas."
Irm Scheer-Pontenagel, Managing Director of EUROSOLAR, says: "We are pleased about the better connection between the IRES and the ESE. The partnership-based conference alignment ensures mutual dialogue between researchers, scientists, representatives of industry and business and politicians."
Also new is that German start-ups have the chance to have their participation in the trade fair sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi). The "programme for the promotion of the participation of newly founded, innovative companies in leading international trade fairs in Germany" assumes up to 70% of the trade fair participation costs. Exhibitor registration and stand planning have already begun.
A total of approximately 125 international exhibitors are expected to attend. Renowned companies, which have already registered for 2016, are, amongst others, Leclanché, ads-tec GmbH, Frauenhofer ICT, Parker Hannifin Corp., Younicos AG, RES Deutschland GmbH, Deutsche ACCUmotive GmbH & Co. KG and Varta Storage GmbH.
