Continuing its ‘Green Light Outreach' campaign, the Green Trade Project Office, under Taiwan's ministry of economic affairs, is set to return to San Francisco, leading a group of Taiwanese PV manufacturers to participate in the Intersolar North America tradeshow for the third consecutive year.
A Taiwan pavilion will be set up for the exhibition on Level 1 of the West Hall at the Moscone Center (booth 7245), from Tuesday to Thursday.
Products on display will include PV modules, solar backsheets, system components and LED lights designed for PV systems.
Li-Yen Ma, division chief of the integrated marketing division at the green trade project office, said: "Encouraged by policies, subsidies and rising awareness of the use of renewable energies, the US PV market has enjoyed steady growth in the past few years, which we would like to use to develop more business opportunities.
"Over the years, Taiwanese companies have demonstrated their capabilities in achieving technology advancements, and Taiwan's PV industry is seen to have evolved with the diversification of market demands. While remaining as the world's second-largest solar cell production region, Taiwan has also seen more manufacturers start to offer PV-related components and application products, building a more diversified supply chain. We believe visitors to the Taiwan Pavilion will easily find the most suitable solutions among the various product lines on show."
The Taiwan pavilion delegates include module backsheet supplier Taiflex Scientific; module manufacturer Gintung Energy Corporation, a member of the Tatung group; solar lighting product maker Ever Power Lighting Equipment; AVC Industrial Corporation, a leading manufacturer of cable glands and wiring accessories in Taiwan; specialized contractors and electromechanical power relays maker Song Chuan Precision; PV backsheet supplier SOPOWER Technology Corporation; and SunValue, which specializes in the development and application of solar bricks.
