Acciona breaks ground on 186 MW of solar in Egypt

The Spanish renewable energy company is building three solar facilities at the Benban complex in partnership with Saudi company, Swicorp. The installations will rely on solar modules provided by Chinese manufacturer, Astronergy and trackers from the Spanish provider, STI Norland.

Acciona secures solar PPA from Chilean mining company ENAMI

The National Mining Company of Chile (ENAMI) will be the first Chilean mining company that will have all of its electricity demand covered by clean energy sources. Supply of electricity under the long-term PPA will begin in April 2018.

Acciona & Tuto sign PPA to expand Mexico PV plant to 339 MW

The Puerto Libertad solar power plant in Sonora has a private PPA for 112 MW and an allocation of 227 MW in the framework of the second clean energy auction. Commissioning is expected in the first half of 2019.
