The renewable energy unit of German utility RWE is now reportedly being targeted by the Spanish power provider, after French energy group Engie was said to have launched an offer in March.
The Spanish developer said the project will be completed in 2018, and will sell power to private customers on the wholesale market.
The devices will be used by Spanish developer Iberdrola Renovables to build two large-scale PV projects in Sonora and San Luis de Potosí.
