REC Silicon’s polysilicon sales rise 18% sequentially in Q2, net loss increases
The Norwegian polysilicon producer saw its revenue drop slightly Y-o-Y to $61.0 million in the latest quarter. Average solar grade polysilicon prices, on the other hand, dropped by 6.9% from the previous quarter.
REC Silicon posts US$57.5 million revenue for first quarter 2017
Quarterly financial results from Norwegian based polysilicon producer REC Silicon show a drop in revenue from $80.4 million the previous quarter. EBITDA for the quarter was $4.6 million, also down from $4.9 million in the previous quarter.

The Norwegian silicon producer increased its fourth quarter revenues by $30 million on Q3, and forecasts rising demand for polysilicon in China ahead of the country’s July FIT decrease.
