The solar plant was built by local developer LigAgro under Ukraine’s FIT program at a cost of $10 million.
All pre-qualified bidders are invited to submit project proposals by June 16. The project is part of 110 MW pipeline that the government is supporting through a recently created ad hoc commission.
The city will now receive 10.5% of its power from one of Texas’ largest utility-scale farms. The plant was built by French energy giant Engie.
The Italian inverter maker will supply its devices for Mexico’s largest solar project. The company is also planning to expand capacity at its manufacturing facility in northern Italy.
