12:00 Session 1: How are cell technologies developing over the next 3 years, and what are the challenges? (Imec, Hanwha Q-Cells)

12:40 Session 2: How are module technologies developing over the next 3 years, and what are the challenges? (ISE, Jolywood, Meyer Burger)

13:10 Session 3: How are installations developing over the next 3 years, and what are the challenges? (Better Energy, Belectric, Enerparc)

13:50 Discussion: The “best” module, the “best” installation

14:00: End

Where: at Intersolar Europe ICM Conference Center, June 1, 12 pm to 2 pm in Munich, room 5 (ground floor)

What: Innovations drive progress in technology industries, but which ones really make sense and produce credible cost savings?

Join our free working-lunch workshop and find out which module technology and installation concept will guarantee lower LCOE in the very near future.

A series of high-paced, engaging and interactive pitches will make the case for various technology pathways on the cell, module and PV power plant level.

Bernhard Beck of Belectric will argue as to why 1,500 Volt will be the new standard and what this means for the LCOE. 1,500 Volt represents just one example of a direction in which the industry and investors can head. We will discuss this and two more EPC innovation pitches and build an impression as to which downstream technology will offer the best route towards reducing solar’s LCOE within a timeframe of two-to-three years.

On the cell and module level, we are happy to announce that Meyer Burger COO Gunter Erfurt will join Future PV in 2017, to provide the company’s perspective as to why heterojunction technology will be a driver of increased competitiveness in the near future. Hanwha Q CELLS, with its many years of experience with its Q.UANTUM cell platform, will be pitching on the cell technology side. Chinese manufacturer Jolywood will introduce a discussion as to whether bifacial technology is sufficiently mature to be applied in the near future and which overall LCOE reduction can be expected as a result.

Future PV will also act as a platform for a host of other speakers, all of whom are experts in their respective fields. These speakers include:

Andreas Henning, Heraeus, Chief Technology Manager

Gunther Erfurt, COO Meyer Burger

Philip Pieters, Business development director Energy, imec

Bernhard Beck, Belectric

Stefan Müller, COO Enerparc

Mark Augustenborg Ødum, Managing Partner Better Energy

Ulrich Eitner, Head of Group Photovoltaic Modules, Division Photovoltaic Modules, Systems and Reliability, Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE

Andreas Liebheit, Heraeus, President Photovoltaics

Vincent (Xiao Rong) Cao, Sales Director, Jolywood Solar Technology Co. Ltd.

Jörg Müller, Hanwha Q CELLS, Director R&D Cells, R&D Thalheim

We look forward to you joining the Future PV Forum, participating in the discussion and sharing your views.

The technologies will be presented in short elevator pitches and attendees can participate in live polls throughout the event, to provide instant feedback as to whether the presentation was convincing or not! You can download the live poll app here:
