REC installs peak energy modules in Germany

The plant uses 5,400 REC Peak modules and was officially connected to the grid on May 27. The modules in Zorbau, which are produced in the new Singapore facility, have a capacity of 1.2 MW and the energy will mainly be for the commercial sector.

The plant was developed together with Soleg GmbH, one of REC’s largest European partners and took only six weeks for the installations to be completed. REC hopes that this module line will succeed in increasing their global capacity for module production up to four times.
