Winters like those in Canada call have extremely cold temperatures and snow storms. At the request of its Canadian customers, DEGERenergie has developed a wind sensor that can function at minus 40 degree Celcius.
The wind guard then causes the solar modules to automatically move to a horizontal position during heavy storms to reduce the surface exposure to wind. The product will be available from June onwards.
