Eurener sponsors the first solar race in South America


The tour will cover 933 kilometers beginning in Humberstone, with the first stage in Antofagasta, the second in Calama and finishing in Iquique.The Atacama Solar Challenge aims to develop cutting-edge photovoltaic technology, with vehicles powered by solar energy.

Eurener's research and development unit provided free of charge, through a grant system, photovoltaic cells to four participating teams to incorporate into prototypes that have been designed exclusively for the event.

The Atacama area is well-known as the one of the areas with the highest solar radiation in the world.
